You will be responsible for development and implementation of business ABAP application/services and other custom-developed application to meet the business users needs.

You will interact with operational, supervisory personnel and business partners within the company to provide high quality development services. You will participate in Agile teams that manage and prioritize work through Azure DevOps to ensure they are meeting the highest priorities for the business.

You will be responsible for

• Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting custom solutions within the SAP CRM landscapes
• Developing new, enhancing existing, and supporting all SAP CRM applications in the portfolio
  o Fiori Web Applications
  o Backend oData APIs
  o WebUI Customizations
  o Supporting ABAP programs and customizations
• Under general direction from team lead and senior programmers, designing technical solutions for business requirements
• Working with functional counterparts to understand business requirements and aid in the creation of design documentation
• Preparing detailed technical specifications for work produced
• Developing applications following system architecture guidelines
• Supplying solutions using best practices as defined by technical leaders and architects
• Unit testing and validation of user acceptance criteria
• Correcting bugs discovered in WIP and production code
• Participating in code reviews and code refinements sessions
• Managing code with Git and transports using Solution Manager and following secure development lifecycle procedures
• Monitoring and supporting issues in production
• Managing status of work via work items in a backlog
• Supplying estimates for work requested to help plan workload
• Participating in status update meetings to keep time up-to-date
• Participating and conducting knowledge transfer sessions with other team members

You have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, orequivalent work experience
• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with SAP development – preferably SAP CRM
  experience
• Fluency in English
• Functional Skills
  • Understanding of SAP CRM platform, capabilities, and available extensions
  • Ability to clearly articulate verbal and written requirements between customers and technical resources
  • Demonstrated ability to perform analysis and to facilitate and translate requirements into technical requirements
  • Ability to function in a constantly changing environment
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision but under guidance of senior developers
  • Be able to analyze system logs
  • Debugging, system tracing, performance tracing
• Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of ABAP Development Workbench
  • Experience using BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, user exit technologies, and common dictionary objects
  • Experience in Object-Oriented programming techniques
  • Experience developing reports with ALV
  • Knowledge of BDOCs and ALE/iDocs integration techniques
  • Fiori – SAPUI5 (or similar frontend development framework)
  • HTML5/CSS3/ECMAScript
  • Workflow development experience
  • Archiving strategies
  • Experience with SAPScript and Smartforms
• Testing Capabilities
  • ABAP Unit testing framework
  • Unit testing via the applications in the system
