Senior Manager Recovery and Resolution Planning

This is a new role that will support the RRP Restructuring and Management Actions team part of the Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) team. The RRP team is the custodian of the Group Recovery and Resolution Strategy (and any local requirements), which includes the management of their capabilities to recover in a severe stress and if unsuccessful their ability to be resolved and restructured in an orderly way.

Your responsibilities:

  • Supporting the maintenance of the management action & restructuring standards and documentation to support the identification, design and validation of management actions, and maintaining these in line with regulatory expectations
  • Supporting the maintenance of the management actions library in line with the standards across Group, Regions and Legal Entities, covering both quantitative (recovery capacity) and qualitative information
  • Performing controls to evidence the accuracy and completeness of the management action & restructuring processes
  • Supporting management in the continuous enhancement, maintenance and testing of the management action & restructuring processes
  • Supporting the testing of the Recovery and Restructuring Strategy and Valuation processes in response to various stress tests performed
  • Assist in the delivery of the Group Recovery Plan (GRP) Management Action, Recovery Capacity and Stress Test sections
  • Assist in the delivery of the RAF Self-Assessment Restructuring Chapter
  • Support the accurate and timely delivery of MI and ad hoc reporting in relation to the management actions & restructuring deliverables
  • Ensure outputs delivered are of a high quality, reflecting accepted regulatory policy and standards with transparent and robust control procedures that withstand internal and external scrutiny
  • Proactive and collaborative stakeholder engagement with peers and senior management across Functions, Global Business Lines and Legal Entities to ensure the management actions standards and controls are adhered to and the completeness, accuracy and credibility of all management actions

Their requirements

  • Risk, Liquidity or Capital expertise and knowledge – to help drive explain and commentary
  • Post graduate/graduate with some experience in Treasury or Finance reporting areas
  • Experience in gathering complex information and presenting the information in a digestible manner
  • Experience in data quality management and remediation
  • Strong data analytical skills, including hands on experience in managing large volumes of data with a proven ability to interpret and comment on data issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
