Your responsibilities

• Ensure that, post completion of source to contract activities, appropriate channels are in place for purchasing goods and services required Global Businesses and Functions. These channels are diverse and continue to evolve, leveraging technology and automation, including global ERPs.

• Ensure that these channels are not only in place, but underpinned by clearly defined, globally consistent processes and robust controls.

• Work closely on a day-to-day basis with global Operational Procurement teams to ensure appropriate documentation and knowledge base is embedded and act as a point of contact for queries/escalations.

• Operate seamlessly with other parts of the P2P scope, the GPOs, and operational teams, to ensure that at all times the end-to-end process is considered and optimised.

• Ongoing requirement to support change initiatives both within Procurement and across the Bank, ensuring Operational Procurement is represented, requirements considered, and any impacts embedded into the operations.

Our requirements

• Significant experience of Operational Procurement functions and processes, including within a complex global organisation.

• Demonstrable knowledge of the components, processes and controls which comprise Operational Procurement.

• Strong experience and understanding of the broader P2P process including how Operational Procurement impacts Accounts Payable and vice versa.

• Understanding and experience of operating within a SOX environment and applicability to P2P.

• Experience of facing off to Audit (internal and external) and Risk steward stakeholders.

• Experience of successful end to end delivery of process change into a global organisation and the ability to balance global design with local requirements.

• Experience of working with (or within) IT teams to deliver technical solutions and automation.

• Experience of working within an operating model including outsourced service provision.

• Strong analytical skills and an ability to take issues from an unstructured problem/ask to a clearly defined, executable requirement.

• A proactive self-starter who identifies initiatives and drives through to completion.
