They’re looking for a strong Front-End Developer to prototype and create new products and improved tools that ensure the overall safety, quality, and trustworthiness of our client’s community and user-generated content.

Our client’s core Q&A product is powered by hundreds of millions of contributors every month. To support the overall safety, quality, and engagement of our client top users, the Community Product Team is reimagining the contributor tools available for most valuable users and developing all new ways to scale their expertise across the entire company ecosystem. You will play a key role in creating new tools for the best users community, new admin interfaces for the Community team, and ensuring this combined system delivers increased educational value to all our client users.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with software engineers and designers to define component APIs, provide feedback and code reviews, make recommendations, propose improvements and implement them
  • Work with engineering, product, design, and other team members on how to create, improve and maintain accessibility standards
  • Implementation of accessible UI components and cross-cutting features of our design system
  • Document the accessibility standards, contribute to training materials and onboarding and knowledge sharing
  • Help build internal tools to empower all of engineering and design to create accessible features

WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE

Required:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer
  • building UI components libraries with focus on accessibility
  • with best practices and standards for Web Accessibility
  • with semantic HTML and aria attributes
  • solving cross-browser/platform UI compatibility issues
  • testing with JavaScript frameworks
  • with web page performance optimization
  • in CSS Flexbox Layout
  • in Responsive Web Design

Preferred: 

  • Experience in CSS Grid Layout
  • Experience in UI animations and CSS performance optimization
  • Experience in mobile-first approach in Responsive Web Design
  • Experience in developing design systems

  • Salary: 11 500 – 16 000 gross monthly (employment contract)
