The Automation & Analytics (A&A) team forms part of the RCAS function. Our remit is to support the Assurance division through:
- driving the adoption of analytics within Assurance reviews; working in partnership with Assurance review teams to deliver ‘analytics first’ reviews, bring new insights into our assurance activities.
- Improve the controls environment and risk management in our client through data analytics. Collaborate with Controls Assurance Testing teams and First Line Teams to implement Data Analytics.
The job holder will be responsible for ensuring that the team meets the requirements of the assurance plan, providing risk stewards, control owners and senior management with up to date information regarding the effectiveness of key controls to mitigate material risks within the organisation.
What you’ll do
- Mentor the local A&A team including supervising, coaching and developing A&A staff
- Be part of the Global A&A Senior Leadership team, supporting RCAS objectives that span many countries/regions
- Support Assurance review teams on global basis through the delivery of review based analytics
- Build effective relationships with our key stakeholders across Assurance and the wider organisation

Escalate exceptions and insights in order that appropriate action can be undertaken to remediate.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Strong investigative and analytical skills and experience of using relevant software packages such as Python, SQL, VBA and Excel
- High self-motivation and enthusiasm for data analytics
- Experience as an effective leader with excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and to deliver on time
- Proven track record of creating and delivering Analytical Insight and Business Intelligence
- An innovative and forward-thinking mindset, and a proven ability to question, evaluate, and improve existing business processes and adequacy of information
- Knowledge of financial services, banking or consulting
- Audit, Assurance or Regulatory Experience IS advantageous.
