Java Developer

You will join a global company that is a leader in providing various online trading tools.

We are recruiting to the team that is created in Krakow. The team is a part of the Trading Platform Middleware group. Currently the Middleware group consists of three teams – two in Krakow and one in London. The team will closely cooperate with the product owner and architect (also located in Krakow). The team will be responsible for owning and developing subset of applications that are the part of company’s Trading Platform – their core product. They are developing middleware/backend services that are used via REST/WebSocket by the frontends – WTP (Web Trading Platform), iOS trading app and Android trading app.

Who you’ll be:

  • 2 years of experience with web development,

  • Demonstrable understanding of modern Java SE, JEE web development concepts (Servlets, Filters, JSP, JSTL, tag libraries), Maven, JUnit, Mockito, Git

  • Commercial experience in web development using Spring, OSGi, RESTful services and Docker,

  • Hands on experience with deploying applications on Java EE application servers will be a plus

  • Experience in web development using a CMS will be an additional advantage (preferably Adobe Experience Manager) or willingness to learn AEM CMS concepts

  • Practised user of LINUX command line and scripting,

  • Proficient in design at system and component levels,

  • Willing to take ownership and provide support of features,

  • Thorough understanding of design patterns, continuous integration,

  • Good troubleshooting skills and able to eventually join the support rota

  • Familiarity with JIRA, Bamboo
