The role, as well as the projects in which you will participate, is crucial for the entire company. The team collects data from various sources and prepares reports for business. The main project you will be working on is based on Python, and the team recently took over several other projects written in Java, Scala and Python.

Your task will be to run a project generating risk reports important for the entire company. The tool is currently under consideration for a complete renovation. The main scope of responsibilities is the implementation of new functionalities, adding new reports, writing tests, pipeline analysis and active participation in the team’s scrum life.

Technologies used: Python, pandas, numpy, Kafka, Netapp, Luigi, Airflow, Rest, AWS (GCP in the future), JVM technologies (Java, Scala), bash.

Candidates do not need to have big data knowledge or a lot of cloud experience – it’s important that you are willing to expand your skills!

Who you are

You will be someone who can demonstrate:

  • Deep knowledge in Python
  • Knowledge in data processing
  • Understanding development life-cycle (Jenkins, Bamboo, git, maven)
  • Unit testing
  • SQL

 It would be great if you have experience on:

  • Experience in one of JVM languages (Java/Scala)
  • Cloud (AWS or GCP)
  • Apache Kafka
  • Hadoop system
  • Apache Spark
  • Message formats AVRO/Parquet/ORC/Json
  • GCP
  • Terraform
